October Unicorn Crate Unboxing

Hi all –

I’ve got a lot going on that I’d rather wait to discuss until another time but my days have been non-stop action from 3am-8 or 9pm most days and I barely have time to sleep let alone pretend I have time to post here right now. Hopefully I can share good news eventually, but until then, I am taking this rare moment in time to update on an unboxing I received recently!

This month’s Unicorn Crate theme was:
Wild Hearts

“The Wish” wall hanging scroll created by Sarah Graybill. It’s a very beautiful scroll but I know someone who will LOVE this so much more and will be excited to give it to them!

This gorgeous purple-colored candle that is described as “violet, lime, blackberry, and thunderstorms”. I mean. OKAY. I’m about that. It’s also just a pretty color. It’s Maleficent inspired (I loveeeeeeeee that movie) and was handmade by Hailey at Gillywick Goods.

A magnetic bookmark by Bearly Paper! This is Sarai from Strange the Dreamer (which feels more heavily talked about recently).

A “Wild At Heart” trinket tray! HOW CUTEEEEEEEE. I haven’t gotten anything like this before and it’s unbelievably wonderful so I’m excited for this. Created by Papaya Art and I’m so thrilled I had already begun using it immediately.

A fox ring. I love simple rings and have been wearing this since I got the box. Super cute and made by Unicorn Crate.

My favorite piece from this box is this fox infinity scarf. I’ve worn this almost every day since opening this box – it’s soft, it’s gorgeous, and everyone comments on how adorable it is (it is adorable). Created by Unicorn Crate and a wonderful gift!

A Stranger Things bookmark that I LOVE. One of my new favorite bookmarks of all time. Love love love. Created by Unicorn Crate.

And of course we must always have something Unicorn inspired and this month it was washi tape! SO CUTE! Glad to have this little Unicorn item in here.

The book of the month is Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa. This box had a cute note from the author with a drawn fox which I loved. It also came with a signed bookplate. I actually enjoy the OwlCrate Exclusive cover more but this one is also AMAZING. My husband liked this one more.

A super fun box for October with a lot of great things I am already enjoying or will get to enjoy in the future. Additionally, maybe it’s just the book hoarder in me but I’m glad to have both the OwlCrate exclusive and original cover of this book – what a fun way to add to my ever-growing book collection.

  • Tell me your thoughts!?
  • Have you read this book yet?
  • Do you enjoy this version or the OwlCrate version more?
