Hi Bookish Fans!
It’s time to go through another unboxing! Unicorn Crate is curated by the sweetest lady and when I first found her boxes I was highly intrigued. I’ve never been disappointed and love the little personal things she does to her boxes!
May’s theme was:
Tournaments & Trials
First is the spoiler card with this beautiful artwork!
Next is this Gillyweed Necklace. How cuteeee!!!! It’s made by Simona Sewing Works! I checked out her website and it’s got a lot of “potion-y” things which I’m all about.
Then there is a candle inspired by A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi. Made by Amy at Spidey Scents Candles. Another great page of themed candles. I have been burning through my book box candles often and was almost running low so I’m glad to have another one that smells wonderful!
Next is this Reading with Unicorns tote which is a big, fat yes! This custom art was made by Sieskja. Bring on the totes. All the totes. I use them all!
A patch with a J.K. Rowling quote! This is a quote from Goblet of Fire. ❤ Be still my beating heart. This would actually be great on the back of one of my totes.
Then there are these vinyl decals inspired by Red Rising. These were made by Justin – check out his etsy page. Haven’t read this series but I hear about it in the book community quite often.
An absolutely gorgeous magnetic bookmark inspired by ACOWAR. The packaging it came in and the bookmark itself are completely beautiful. Made by Amber – check out her etsy page which has a ton of really wonderful pieces (check out the Illuminae quoted items or the Ursula bookmark…AHH!).
Unicorn bookmark!
A grocery list notepad based on the Hunger Games. I LOVE LISTS and notebooks/pads so I already began using this. No regrets.
The book for this month was Furyborn by Claire Legrand. I actually squealed when I pulled this out. Honest. This is actually one of the books I’ve been most excited for since the start of the year so I couldn’t believe I actually got it in a box. I had hoped OwlCrate would have jumped on this one but I’m glad they didn’t so I have a variety of books from different companies this month. YAY! Comes with a signed plate and a note from the author. Also, the cover is STUNNING in your hands. Stunning.
This box had a lot of cute things in it and I was SO pleased with the book choice for this month. Also, the curator at Unicorn Crate is just a wonderful, sweet person and I love her passion and love of making boxes with unicorn touches in them.
- What did you think of this box?
- Are you subscribed to this service; if so do you like it?
- Is anyone else as freaking excited for Furyborn as I am?! Anyone!?!!?!?!?
♥♥
This looks like an awesome box! I can only afford one subscription right now, and that is Owlcrate, but I will definitely keep this one in mind.

I totally understand. I bounced around between a few boxes for a while and then decided to give a few of them a few months subscriptions. I tried to convince myself that I don’t buy a lot of other things therefore it was OK to buy the boxes…. haha.

It’s just a few dollars more I believe but the curator, Naomi, makes a lot of stuff on her own which is cute and I like that personal touch.
