November Book Haul

Hello blog world!

I feel silly for posting anything since I’m so far behind on reading and it’s really disappointing, but I genuinely enjoy writing here even if I don’t do it as often as I’d like.

Last month I tried REALLY hard to avoid buying too many books because I knew I wasn’t going to be able to read nearly as many as usual. However, my hands cannot be stopped when I see a book I want – they just grab and my body moves towards the checkout line. So, without further ado my small but lovely book haul:

Dec 2 1
About Grace by Anothony Doerr
(Ok – let me explain so I don’t sound like just a book hoarder. I got this book in October in paperback form out of luck at a thrift store. But I found the above copy in hardback and it’s so beautiful I wanted to cry so I had to purchase it. So, I am not a book hoarder (sort of) and I just genuinely wanted this beautiful copy. End of rant.)

The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen

The Elite by Keira Cass

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief by Wendelin Van Draanen

Sammy Keyes and the Sisters of Mercy by Wendelin Van Draanen

Dec 2 2
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys

Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult

The Julius House by Charlaine Harris

Dec 2 4
Someone got me several of these books as gifts that they, too, found in a thrift store. This was the last Picoult book to finish my collection – I now have all her books, finally!!!!!!!!
Also – everyone raves about The Lunar Chronicles and Between Shades of Gray so I’m glad I at least got them on my shelves. Now, I just need to find a free moment to start reading them along with all of my other TBR books.

What did everyone else get last month? Any of these a favorite by any of you out there?!
