Monday.
Aye.
I mentioned in my last post that I may have gone WAY overboard last month when it comes to buying book. I actually almost went a little crazy when I would think of stopping by a thrift store. My palms would get a little sweaty and my heart would begin to race. Yes. My name is Christine. I have a book problem. Anyway – before going any further in this post be warned I am banning you from judging my eagerness to snatch up too many books within a 31 day period. Got it? Good.
Meet the Austins by Madeleine L’Engle
About Grace by Anthony Doerr
Sammy Keyes and the Skeleton Man by Wendelin Van Draanen
Sammy Keyes and the Hollywood Mummy by Wendelin Van Draanen
Sammy Keyes and the Search for Snake Eyes by Wendelin Van Draanen
The Hypnotist’s Love Story by Liane Moriarty
The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Switched by Amanda Hocking
Where She Went by Gayle Forman
Keep the Moon by Sarah Dessen
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
The Tales of the Beedle and the Bard by J.K. Rowling
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon
I am BEYOND excited to read About Grace by Anthony Doerr. Since All the Light We Cannot See I have become slightly obsessed with Doerr’s writing and descriptions.
I noticed in my hunt for books that I am not overly picky. I tend to lean towards books I have heard of or an author I’ve read or others rave about, but I’ll try almost anything once. I read a few of the Sammy Keyes books when I was younger and I feel like my age will never be able to restrict the joy of reading an easy, mindless, fun book usually directed towards children and younger. I also hear great things about Outlander so I’ll be excited when I get to that!
Has anyone read any of these? Would love to hear about it!
